Day 1

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport

Your guide meets you at arrivals with a car decorated with flowers and drives you to Arusha for a quiet first night.

Ilboru Safari Lodge, Arusha (half board)

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Your first game drive in Tarangire, among elephant herds and ancient baobabs, then on to camp for the night.

Day 3

Into the Serengeti

Climb through the Ngorongoro highlands and down onto the Serengeti plains, with a game drive on the way to camp.

Day 4

A full day in the Serengeti

Head out at dawn when the cats are most active, rest at camp through the midday heat, then drive again until sunset and finish with a private sundowner.

Ngorongoro Crater

A last morning in the Serengeti, then down into the Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon on the crater floor. Overnight in the green hills of Karatu.
