Day 1

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport

Your guide meets you at arrivals with a car decorated with flowers and drives you to Arusha for a quiet first night.

Day 2

Tarangire, then Manyara's Secret

A game drive in Tarangire among elephants and baobabs, then on to Manyara's Secret beside Lake Manyara and your private plunge-pool villa.

A slow day for the two of you

No early alarm. Walk along the lake in the morning, meet the lodge's Maasai neighbours, and end the day by the campfire. In the evening the neighbours celebrate your honeymoon with traditional song and dance.

Into the Serengeti

Through the Ngorongoro highlands and onto the open Serengeti plains, with a game drive on the way to camp.

Dawn and late-afternoon drives when the animals are most active, a long lunch in between, and a boma dinner under the stars to finish.

Ngorongoro Crater

Down into the Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon on the crater floor, then a suite at Ngorongoro Farm House, a working coffee farm in Karatu, with a honeymoon set-up and a private sundowner waiting.

Back to Arusha

Getting there: Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Your guide meets you at arrivals and drives you to your lodge in Arusha.
Good to know: Prices are per person sharing and include every park and crater fee. Manyara's Secret has one dedicated honeymoon villa with a private terrace for dinner; it goes to the first couple to book each date. If a named lodge is full, we suggest one of the same standard before you book.
