9-Day Kilimanjaro · Northern Circuit

Camping9 Days

The newest and longest standard route, approaching like Lemosho before swinging around the mountain's remote northern flank — the side that gets the least traffic — before joining the summit push from Barafu. The extra days give this route the strongest acclimatisation profile we offer.

What makes this trip special

Practical information

Good to know
The longest and most expensive standard climb, but statistically the safest bet for reaching Uhuru Peak. Remote northern camps mean a longer supply chain for the crew — book it with good lead time. Crew tips are separate (guideline ~$280–380 per climber, pooled, reflecting the extra days).
